Google Ads Update: Smarter Quality Scores & Brand Compliance Deadlines

Google has recently rolled out several key updates that may impact campaign performance and structure. Most notably, a refined ad quality prediction model is now evaluating landing page relevance and ease of navigation more closely, meaning poorly optimized or hard-to-navigate pages may see reduced ad visibility.
Our team is proactively reviewing landing pages to ensure compliance and protect ad rank across all accounts.
Additionally, Google is tightening brand guidelines and now requires that advertisers use an updated business name and logo by March 2025. If not updated, Google will automatically apply the top-performing elements.
Lastly, traditional Call Ads are being phased out in favor of Responsive Search Ads (RSAs) with integrated call functionality.
These new RSAs require a verified business name and an accompanying landing page, but rest assured, our team is already ahead of the curve and actively rolling out these updates across client accounts who are enrolled in our Google Ads PRO System.
