Google has introduced new guidelines to better manage AI-generated ad text. The goal? To make sure ads stay clear, honest, and consistent — especially important in healthcare advertising.

  • Google has removed the “Restricted Medical Content” label, making it easier to understand how healthcare ads are reviewed and approved.
  • There’s a stronger focus now on how Google’s AI predicts ad quality — meaning it looks more closely at things like relevance, landing page experience, and overall alignment before deciding whether to show your ad.
  • Political ad policies have also been updated, especially in the EU, with new regional restrictions in place.
